Workshop in Pernik, Bulgariaadmin
The end users get informed about the project activities through a dedicated workshop. The information covered the different scenarios to be examined at the pilot site, the exact type of hardware devices to get installed (different sensor devices were presented along with the RPI as the gateway of the system).
A tour in premises took place, informing the pilot end users about the placement of the sensors and the usage of the different software tools (in office displays, intranet portal & smartphone game).
The pilot users show high interest about the OrbEEt project activities, with special focus on the equipment to be installed for monitoring the building premises.
This is a non-intrusive way to monitor valuable information. In addition, and as in the case of Asparrena, the municipality building is a central point of interest for the region and thus the in-office displays (available in public areas of the building) are considered as a nice way to inform the citizens about the importance of energy efficiency. The consent form for participation in project activities was presented.
